Dinner Parties

PARKING UPDATE

Hi All, 

As “The Dairy Ground” becomes a busy hub, with vehicles entering and exiting the businesses to The Studio, UP and Alderley Day Nursery, we would like to remind all our customers and visitors to take extra care when manoeuvring vehicles in our car park area, and as pedestrians when walking in and out of the nursery building. 

The safety of our customers is paramount and over the past couple of months several measures have been put in place to improve the car park situation as follows.

  • Lighting – additional outdoor lighting has been erected to assist with visibility in these darker months;
  • Signage – additional signage has been added to direct visitors into parking bays and to remind visitors to drive slowly;
  • Speed Bump – a speed ramp has been fitted to slow traffic entering and exiting our neighbouring sites; 
  • Flexibility – we have agreed a more flexible parking arrangement with our neighbouring businesses to assist during the varying peak times;
  • Communication – we are writing to all customers of The Dairy Ground, requesting their cooperation in making the site a safe place for pedestrians and, in particular, small children.

In addition to the above, please find below our request to you…

  • Please drive very slowly and look out for moving vehicles, pedestrians, and in particular, small children;
  • Reverse park your vehicle in our bays to provide better visibility on exit – if you need to forward park, please take extra care to check for clearance before reversing your vehicle out of a bay.
